Sven Ehmann is the creative director at international art and design book publisher gestalten, based in Berlin/Germany. Along the companies claim „exploring visual culture“ he works on the overall research and the development of topics, titles and program, with subjects ranging from graphic design, typography and illustration, to information graphics, fine art, urban art, product design, interior design, architecture and on to bicycles, food or 3D printing. Over the years he edited over 70 books that reached a creative community from students to creative executives around the world.

Sven Ehmanns background is in journalism and photography. He studied North American studies, film and media science at the Freie Universität Berlin, worked as a director concept development for the digital agency Pixelpark in Berlin and New York and for the exhibition design company flying saucer. He occasionally acts as a freelance curator and design consultant and is a regular speaker and workshops host at design schools and festivals around the globe.
